Last Updated: October 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Yote FarmView website, mobile application, and related services (together, the “Services”). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Services on behalf of a farm, company, or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Services

Yote FarmView provides digital mapping and farm management tools for agricultural operations, including farm and field maps, acreage information, records of crop varieties, applications, and harvests, exports and reports, and team collaboration features.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your login credentials secure, and all activity that occurs under your account. You are also responsible for the team members you invite and the access you give them. Please notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

4. Customer Data

You keep ownership of your farm data. Customers retain ownership of the farm and agricultural data they provide to Yote FarmView.

Using the Services does not transfer ownership of your farm maps, field data, crop information, harvest information, agricultural records, or operational data to Yote FarmView. You grant us a limited permission to host, store, process, and display that data only as needed to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Services for you.

Yote FarmView does not sell customer farm data or personal information. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for having the rights to the data you upload and for its accuracy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services in violation of any applicable law or regulation
  • Access or attempt to access accounts or data that do not belong to you
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or their systems
  • Reverse engineer, copy, resell, or create derivative works of the Services, except as permitted by law
  • Upload malicious code or content that infringes the rights of others
  • Use automated means to scrape or extract data from the Services without our permission

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of the Services may require a paid subscription. Pricing, billing frequency, and plan details will be presented to you before you subscribe. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, fees are due as stated at the time of purchase and are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice; changes will apply to your next billing period.

7. Intellectual Property

The Services, including the software, design, logos, and content provided by Yote FarmView (but excluding your customer data), are owned by Yote FarmView or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services for your internal agricultural operations.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve the Services without obligation to you.

8. Availability and Updates

We work to keep the Services available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that they will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change, or discontinue features from time to time, and may perform maintenance that temporarily limits access.

9. Third-Party Services

The Services rely on and may link to third-party services, such as hosting, mapping, satellite imagery, and app store providers. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies, and Yote FarmView is not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.

10. Disclaimer

Yote FarmView provides digital mapping and farm management tools intended to assist agricultural operations. Maps, acreage calculations, GPS information, imagery, boundaries, and other measurements may contain inaccuracies or differ from actual field conditions.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Yote FarmView is not a licensed land surveying service, and maps provided through the platform should not be considered legal property surveys or legal boundary determinations.

You remain responsible for your agricultural, operational, and business decisions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yote FarmView will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, crops, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Services. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Services in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Yote FarmView from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, or data you provide that infringes the rights of others.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially violate these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends. You may contact us to request a copy or deletion of your data, as described in our Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above, and for material changes we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continuing to use the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
